Maureen joined the practice of Synyshyn Architecture Interior Design as a principal in November 2000. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Interior Design and Masters Degree in Facility Management at the University of Manitoba and has been privileged to work with Architecture and Interior Design firms in Winnipeg and Edmonton. Maureen is a dedicated life long learner and has achieved the NCIDQ Certificate as well as LEED Accreditation. She continues to guest lecture at the University of Manitoba and has served as external advisor to a thesis student in the Master of Interior Design program.

When not at work Maureen enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing with Minnie, her Shetland Sheep dog. She loves to explore design through travel and enjoys indulging her other passion, the pursuit of shoes!
